My Guitar

as first post

Okay so it is 2AM and i am stuck not knowing what to write at my blog for my first post so i just stared at an open space. Little did I know that I am staring at my guitar! Woot! now i got something to talk about.

This guitar that I have is an ESP/LTD F-50, basics of the basic. I got for cheap online and it comes with an amp (Crate FlexWave) a guitar stand, strap, chord, basically everything to get me started playing guitar. I am really happy at the purchase and i was so happy that I become the master of the guitar chords and of course some licks and solo techniques!

REVIEW

Anyway, a small review for the LTD F-50. The LTD F series has a very good body shape, perfect for rockers and a very very quality neck for the price. And the price is seriously around $250. It has 24 frets and nicely spaced fretboard, perfect for any finger size. Humbecker Pickups, two tone control and one volume knob of course. Strings are perfect and it also have a 'self tuning' bridge. The sound of course is not that good in terms of comparison between a Les Paul or a Stratocaster. However, the sound and tone is 'acceptable' when not distorted (gain/ whatever u wanna call it) and mid-terrible when coupled with amp distortion (might get diff result with pedal dist). However for the price, its ok since this guitar is made for those who wants to learn and not for concert level of guitar players. Over all a nice piece of hardware except for the pickups.. i recommend giving it an upgrade by changing the pickup with an active pickup from EMG or Duncan. Now between this, Epiphone Les Paul and Squire Strat, I will choose this, definitely.

That guitar was a year from now. Now I think my guitar is kind of old and it doesnt suit up my newfound skillz anymore so my future plan is to buy the Gibson Les Paul or the Gibson SG.
